Peter McLoughlin - Principal
Peter began his career as a commercial lender for GE Capital. After GE Capital, Peter worked for several years in NYC at CIBC World Markets in its Mergers and Acquisitions Group focusing much of his time on financial modeling, valuation and the acquisition and sales of small to medium size companies ($20MM – 1BN). Next, Peter worked as a Vice President for Datek Online Holding Corp. and assisted them in raising $800 million in private funding and the development and execution of an international expansion strategy.
In 2002, Peter began working as a full-time real estate professional. Since then he has acted as a leading principal in over $25 million in real estate transactions.
During this time, Peter has developed several organizations to support his real estate efforts: Boston Property Development, LLC, a development organization, Greater Boston Property Management LLC, a property management firm, and Patriot Real Estate Group, Inc, a real estate sales and leasing organization.
Peter has been a guest speaker at the Boston and Eastern Massachusetts Real Estate Investor Associations and graduated fourth in his class from Northeastern University in 1996.
Rich McDonald - Vice President of Construction
A former collegiate hockey player and student at the Air Force Academy, Rich is a licensed construction supervisor and responsible for the management of BPD’s contracting services business. Rich has been in the general contracting business for over 14 years. During that time he has acted as a general contractor in a wide range of renovation and construction projects. He has overseen the interior and exterior renovations of residential homes on behalf of many homeowners. His work on homes includes extensive work in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles, where Rich worked with the world’s most contemporary designers customizing kitchens, bathrooms and interiors for Hollywood’s elite. Rich has also general contracted and constructed a dozen Lindal Cedar Homes and Lynwood Cedar Homes, from design through finish, in the Massachusetts and Western United States markets.
Rich has extensive repositioning experience as well. He managed the repositioning of the Oak Lawn Apartments, a 157 unit apartment complex in San Antonio, Texas and has general contracted residential repositionings in the Dorchester, Quincy and Greater Boston markets. His work in Boston has also included building out commercial buildings in Boston’s financial district.
Rich is extremely involved in the Boston and South Shore communities and is a coach in the Quincy Youth Hockey League.
Ashley Collins - Associate
Ashley began her career with Coed Sportswear, Inc. where she implemented new fulfillment systems and cut company costs. She also managed various accounting and fundraising projects for the company.
Ashley then worked for Vector Marketing Corporation as a sales representative. Within her first 3 months, Ashley rose to 15th in individual sales in New England. As an Assistant District Manager, she grew the district to 5th in New England, and then founded her own branch, which was ranked 2nd in New England.
After successfully running her branch, Ashley began consulting for entrepreneurs and small businesses, including Belforti Investments and Ball & Buck. Her consulting work has included staffing, investment portfolio tracking and reporting, investor relations, automating business systems, managing cost structures, marketing campaigns, web design (xhtml, php, css) and CRM, SFA, and accounting software customization.
As part of the Boston Property Development team, Ashley has built a custom leasing program and the alpha version of a real estate investment marketing program. Ashley is devoted to learning every aspect of real estate and has assisted in real estate investment analysis, acquisition, and property management.
Ashley graduated magna cum laude from Babson College.
